As the "Occupy" movement spreads across the nation from Wall Street to the Bay, tonight I had my first encounter with the group who had set up camp on Market Street outside the Federal Reserve Bank.
As I crossed the street a man with a megaphone yelled for everyone to withdraw all their money from the banks.
While I am angry at Bank Of America's announcement that they will begin charging $5 a month to use your ATM card to make purchases, I am not sure withdrawing all my money is going to help the Occupy cause.
And just what exactly is the cause? Well I am still not sure anyone of the protesters could articulate exactly why they were camped out on the street or what they where hoping to accomplish.

I heard the same thing on the radio yesterday. The protesters that were interviewed could not say exactly what hey were protesting about or what action they wanted taken or who exactly they were mad at.
